A band is seen playing on a stage in a video that has gone viral on social media, while three children dressed in party gowns can be seen standing close by. She shouts the lines fervently, channelling the energy of the performers on stage, as the music continues and the singer places his mic in front of one of the children.
And if that weren't gorgeous enough, the trio is seen headbanging like any metal fan as soon as the beat drops, going into a complete trance and taking pleasure in the performance. As Ozzy Osbourne’s Black Sabbath says, “Revolution in their minds, the children start to march.” Our Children of the Grave will wake up the next morning without neck pain.
As the video went viral on social media, someone rightly pointed out their restoration of faith in the next generation. “Ok, maybe there’s hope in this generation,” read the re-tweet.
A Twitter user who shared the video and identified it as coming from Meghalaya commented, "Little angels become heavy metal performers." Then, this went viral, making thousands of people laugh in awe online. The user claimed that the children were singing Sha Madan Thma by the heavy metal group Thunder's Cave, while not providing any context for the video.
Thunder’s Cave is a heavy metal band from Meghalaya and the video was supposedly shot in Nongstoin, as per another user’s comment.
The band reported that they were playing their original song during a live event planned especially to celebrate Aiden John's first birthday, the son of Thunder's Cave bassist. Three girls were headbanging to the song while the audience was loving the performance.

Many were taken aback by the video, but others noted how Meghalayans adore rock and heavy metal. In reality, Chief Minister Conrad Sangma's love of music has frequently sparked online discussion. A video showing Sangma strumming an electric guitar and singing along to an Iron Maiden song went viral in 2020. The film featured the CM unwinding with the legendary song Wasted Years by the English heavy metal band after a few exhausting Assembly sessions.
