October 2022 is a great time for K-drama lovers as some of the most anticipated shows will be releasing this month. The month started off with some great dramas like high school drama Cheer Up starring Han Ji-hyun, Bae In-hyuk and Kim Hyun-jin, Doh Kyung-soo's crime drama Bad Prosecutor, Choi Si-won and Lee Da-hee's rom-com Love Is For Suckers and Jang Seo-hee, Oh Chang-seok and Yoon Mi-ra's Game Of Witches. There are some more exciting releasing coming soon in October that will be a binge-worthy watch.

6 K-dramas October 2022 Has In Store For You

Yonder

This K-drama stars Shin Ha-kyun and Han Ji-min in lead roles. The story is set in the year 2032 and is about a lonely reporter Jae Hyun who lost his wife Yi Hu due to cancer, leaving his life empty. However, one day he receives a letter from his dead wife, inviting him to a mysterious space called Yonder, to meet her for one last time. The drama releases on October 14 on TVING.

Under The Queen's Umbrella

This historical black comedy stars Kim Hye-soo in the lead role of elegant and graceful Queen Im Hwa-ryeong. Over years, she had come across ">many troubling incidents in the royal family that made her ditch serene aura and become prickly and short tempered. The drama focuses on her training her five trouble-making sons who will soon become the crown princes. The show premieres on Netflix on October 15.

May I Help You

This K-drama is about a butler named Kim Jib-sa and a funeral director named Baek Dong-ju. Jib-sa works as a butler for his uncle's company and runs errands for people for 100 won a per day. Dong-ju, on the other hand, has the ability to talk to dead people and fulfills their last wish. They start their own firm called running errands for alive and dead people One Hundred Won Butler. The show premieres on October 19 on MBC.

Shadow Detective

This K-drama revolves around a veteran detective who is waiting for his retirement who gets framed for the murder of a colleague. He receives a call from a mysterious person calling himself an old friend who tells him that he has killed his colleague and asks him to re-investigate his old cases and find what he did wrong. The detective sets on a journey to prove his innocence and find the culprit. The show comes to Disney Plus Hotstar on October 26.

Based on 2015 Korean film of the same name, this K-drama is about a man who visits a motel room to meet a woman and is pleased by her appearance. He is happy to pay her for her services but ends up getting trapped by a group of random bidders who auction his body organs. Suddenly, an earthquake occurs and the building collapses and all the people are stuck in a battle of survival. The show premieres on TVING on October 28.

Curtain Call

This upcoming K-drama is about an optimistic and bright actor who works at a local theatre group. Though he comes from a poor background, he has high self-esteem and looks towards the brighter side of things. He is asked by an old man to play the grandson of an old lady, whose real grandson was defected from North Korean, which changes his entire life. The show premieres on KBS2 on October 31.
