Twitter Is Wowed By Woman Speaking English In Kashmiri Accent

An elderly woman speaking English is taking the internet by storm with her Kashmiri accent in the pronunciation of various English words. The video was initially posted on Twitter and ultimately made its way on WhatsApp and Facebook as well. Social media users are in awe with the woman’s zeal to learn something new at such an older age.

The 36-second viral video of the elderly woman speaking English was posted by a user named Syed Sleet Shah on Twitter. “They taught us how to talk when we were babies and how the turntables! What is even more wholesome is that learning is a consistent process in life!” read the post as the young man asks her to name fruits, vegetable and animals in English.

The users are all gaga over her Kashmiri accent as she pronounces cat as “kyaet”. The elderly woman went on to pronounce onion, apple, garlic and dog as the video became a hit on social media including WhatsApp and Facebook.

The internet users have been appreciating her willingness to learn new things even at such an old age like hers. “At this stage she knows much more than our some youth it is really appreciable.” Wrote a user.
