Sukesh Chandrashekhar Sara Ali Khan: According to the investigation by the Enforcement Directorate (ED), jailed conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar targeted three more actors besides Jacqueline Fernandez and Nora Fatehi.
The India Today report said that Sara Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar are the three actors he has targetted. Sukesh Chandrashekhar allegedly used extorted money to send them gifts.
Sara Ali Khan
According to the report, he targeted Sara Ali Khan in May 2021 and introduced himself to the actor by texting her on WhatsApp message on May 21, 2021. He disguised himself as Suraj Reddy. They kept chatting on WhatsApp. Sukesh finally told Sara that he would like to gift her a car as a friendly gesture. She declined all his offers. On continuous insistence, she agreed to receive a box of chocolates from him. He sent it along with a Franck Muller watch with an intention of befriending her.
Sara was also questioned by ED officials regarding the gifts. In a letter to the probe agency dated January 14, 2022, the actor informed investigators that she constantly refused Sukesh’s offer.
Janhvi Kapoor
Sukesh took the help of his wife Leena Maria Paul to target Janhvi Kapoor. He allegedly gifted her items worth over Rs 18 lakh on the pretext of giving her professional fees for the opening of the wife's salon in Bengaluru on July 19, 2021. Janhvi also told the ED that she was also gifted a Christian Dior tote bag by Leena’s mother on the day of the event. She submitted her bank account details before the ED along with her statement.
Bhumi Pednekar
Sukesh Chandrashekhar targetted Bhumi Pednekar through his associate Pinky Irani. He approached Bhumi pretending to be the Vice President HR of News Express Post in January 2021 and expressed his desire to gift her a car on behalf of group’s chairman Mr Suraj (Sukesh Chandrasekhar) who was a big fan of him.
Bhumi, however, informed ED officials that she did not receive any gifts from Sukesh Chandrasekhar or Suraj or Shekhar or his any of his associates, as per a report.

32-year-old Sukesh Chandrashekhar is presently in Delhi's Tihar Jail for allegedly extorting Rs 215 crore from Aditi Singh. She is the wife of the owner of Ranbaxy. He used to pose as multiple people and extorted Rs 215 crore from Aditi Singh on the pretext of helping her husband get out of jail.
