A Twitter user wrote, "I love & hate #flamesseason3 at the same time... Love it for everything it is... But hate it, cause i know it's gonna break my heart sometime or other.... Great job @the_timeliners". Another one wrote, "This series show an unexplored path of relation among a father and their children, among the friends and the pure music just takes it to next level. The story starts loosing grip in from 3rd episode but on the brighter side it recovers early. #flamesseason3 ".

A special shoutout went to some endearing characters, one of which was Ishita's father as a Twitter user wrote, "#flamesseason3 I am not comparing or anything but Ishita's father is the demand for New generation, the way he supports and understands her is way too amazing". Another user found their interaction refreshing and wrote, "Also the conversation of #tanyamaniktala and his father was always blow my mind. From Season 1".

Though the audience was in love with the screenplay and the performances, especially Tanya Maniktala and Ritvik Sahore, the story was a little weak. The ones who hope to refresh their minds watching it found it depressing as it revealed the true face of how society treats school children.
