Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth's Sister Soundarya Shares A Heartwarming Picture On Social

Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth's sister and film director Soundarya Rajinikanth recently uploaded a new profile picture of the two sisters hugging their father megastar Rajinikanth. She dropped in a new profile picture a day after Aishwarya and Dhanush announced their separation on social media. The couple has ended their marriage after 18 years of staying together.

On January 17, Dhanush posted a note on Twitter stating "18 years of togetherness as friends, couple, as parents and well-wishers to each other. The journey has been of growth, understanding, adjusting and adapting," he added, "Aishwarya and I have decided to part ways as a couple and take time to understand us as individuals for the better."

Both of them belong to influential cinema families. Aishwarya is the eldest daughter of Rajinikanth and Dhanush is the son of the producer, Kasthuri Raja.

Soundarya Rajinikanth is younger than Aishwarya. Like her elder sister and father, she too is a part of the Tamil film industry as a film director. She is also the founder and owner of Ocher Picture Productions.

Who Is Soundarya Rajinikanth?

Born on September 20, 1984, to father Rajinikanth and mother Latha Rajinikanth, Soundarya is the youngest of the two daughters. She did her schooling at Ashram in Chennai and one of her most popular works to date is Anbe Aaruire.

Recently, her company joined hands with Eros International for producing star Rajini's upcoming project Kochadaiyaan. It is directed by her. As a filmmaker, her favourite director is Mani Rathnam and her favourite film is Thalapathy.

Other than, a producer and a director, she is also a graphic designer and has done VFX for some of the films under her production house banner.

Soundarya got married to her longtime boyfriend Ashwin Ramkumar, who is a Stanford graduate. She has a son called Ved Krishna, who is seven years old. In July 2017, she divorced Ashwin and in 2019 tied the knot with businessman Vishagan Vanangamudi, who is the owner of a pharmaceutical company.

She was trolled on social media for posting pictures of her second honeymoon. She mentioned in her posts about missing her son.
