Ananya Panday Gets Trolled For Wearing Bikini Top During Gehraiyaan Promotions

Actor Ananya Panday has been making headlines ever since her upcoming film Gehraiyaan got announced. She is currently busy with the promotions of the film before its release on February 11, 2022.

In the recent pictures from the promotions, she was seen freezing in the cold while posing for pictures at Mumbai's Taj Lands End. The actor was then rescued by her co-star Siddhant Chaturvedi who offered her his blazer.

Panday was seen donning a marron colour bandeau bikini top paired with culotte pants in the pictures and the videos. She was heavily trolled for not choosing her attire according to the weather. Many parts of the country have seen a dip in mercury due to the cold waves. Panday was seen shivering on a windy evening while struggling to pose for the pictures. She tried to cover herself with her arms but that did not help. Siddhant Chaturvedi then gave her his blazer.

Many social media users were seen making fun of the actor for wearing the "tiny blouse" amid cold weather. One user felt at liberty to suggest, " Thandi mein aise kapade pehnogi to yahi hoga" (This is what you get for wearing such outfits during cold) While another user wrote, " Thandi bhi lag rahi hai or style bhi dekhana hai ! Toh jehlo phir." ( You are feeling cold and still can't stop being glamorous. Suffer then). Similar comments were directed towards Panday for her outfit.

This is not the first time the actor has been trolled on social media. Last year, she had been summoned by Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) for interrogation in the drug case in which Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan had been arrested. As per the NCB, Aryan Khan had asked Panday to arrange weed and Panday had allegedly agreed. Khan got bail from the court and the developments in the case have not been making news since then.

Ananya Panday is playing one of the lead roles in the upcoming film Gehraiyaan directed by Shakun Batra. The film also stars Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Dhairya Karwa. As per the trailer, the subject dealt in the film is modern relationships and adultery.
