Bollywood actor Preity Zinta has now received the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. She announced the same on her social media handles and urged everyone else to get vaccinated as well.

"I took my second covid shot and am vaccinated. I would request everyone to get vaccinated so we are all safe," she tweeted. She also shared pictures of herself getting vaccinated at the BKC Jumbo COVID-19 Vaccination Centre in Mumbai.

Apart from actor Preity Zinta, several other celebrities have recently got the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. This includes Madhuri Dixit, Saif Ali Khan, Neena Gupta and others.

Celebrities who recently got the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine include Ankita Lokhande, Himanshi Khurana, Devoleena Bhattacharjee, Parth Samthaan, Niti Taylor, Rohit Bose Roy, etc.

Recently, actor Preity Zinta has announced that her IPL team Punjab Kings, along with partners Round Table India (RTI) will be donating funds for providing oxygen concentrators all over the country.

Preity Zinta recently took to Twitter to talk about how the pandemic is affecting everyone around us. She said that we must all try to help others by making a difference "financially, emotionally and mentally."

"Part of this is being socially responsible by wearing masks, following all COVID protocols & being more sensitive & compassionate towards others. I’m not home bt I’m grateful that I’m safe & I sincerely hope being part of the IPL, we can keep people safe at home by providing some relief & something to look forward to in these trying times," she added in a follow-up tweet.

A few days ago, the actor had wished for the speedy recovery of Punjab Kings player KL Rahul. In her tweet, she revealed that KL Rahul had complained of severe abdomen pain, and was not responding to any medication. It was soon detected that he was suffering from acute appendicitis. He then successfully went through surgery for the same on Monday.
