Glamorous Hollywood celebrity Zsa Zsa Gabor has passed away at the age of 99. The actress, who died of heart failure, was married nine times and was known for her colourful and larger than life personality.
Here are ten things to know about her:
1. She was born in Budapest, Hungary, in 1917, and became Miss Hungary in 1936. She acted in Vienna before emigrating to the United States in 1941
2. Her first big role was in John Huston’s Moulin Rouge in 1952, after which she became famous for her roles in different movies. She even played a sexy alien in ‘Queen of Outer Space’.
3. Her many marriages to millionaires were the subject of public fascination. She was married to hotel heir Conrad Hilton, actor George Sanders, oil magnate Joshua S. Cosden, and the man who helped create the Barbie doll --Jack Ryan, among others. Her marriage with a unpopular Mexican actor lasted only a day, before it was annulled.
"A girl must marry for love, and keep on marrying until she finds it," she once said.

4. She was arrested for slapping a police officer in 1989 because of a traffic violation and because she had an open bottle of vodka lying in the car. She was given 72 hours in jail. “You just cannot drive a Roll's Royce in Beverly Hills anymore, because they have it in for you,” she said later.
5. She has published 4 books: An Autobiography, two books titled “Zsa Zsa’s Complete Guide to Men” and “How to Catch a Man, How to Keep a Man, How to Get Rid of a Man” and a book titled “One Lifetime Is Not Enough.”
6. She lost $7 million in Bernie Madoff’s Ponzi scheme.
7. She had one child with Conrad Hilton. Francesca Hilton died in 2015.
8. She bought a Villa which had been built by Howard Hughes, and which had been owned by Elvis Presley.

9. According to her official fan site, zsazsagabor.org, her closet contained 5,000 garments which were always replaced from time to time.
10. The celebrity loved having her way. She was once removed from a flight for refusing to keep her six dogs in their travel kennels!
Zsa Zsa Gabor wasn’t afraid of owning her flamboyant lifestyle and being proud of it. Her confidence probably added much of the glamour factor to her celebrity. She was known for her pithy one liners.
