The 35-year- woman who was brutally raped in the Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh has been reportedly battling for life. The incident took place on Saturday, December 25, 2021 when the woman was returning home with her husband after buying medicines.
No arrests have been made yet and the search for the accused is still underway.
Woman Gangraped In Dhar, Madhya Pradesh:
A married couple were stopped while they were returning back to their home in Manawar town of Dhar district in Madhya Pradesh. The couple was on their bike before the incident happened.
Three men kidnapped the couple after which they allegedly raped the woman. As per the police, the trio threw stones at the couple near the canal which forced them to stop the bike. They allegedly took away the couple's money and jewellery after they tied them up.
As the man was tied up, he could not help his wife who was being allegedly raped. Manwar Police Station in- charge Brijesh Malviya said, "The attackers tore the woman’s clothes and brutalised her. They fled when she began bleeding heavily from her private parts".
When the man shouted for help and they caught the attention of few passerby who came to the rescue. They took the women to the hospital for the treatment. Dr Anita Baghel, a gynecologist at the Dhar district hospital, examined the survivor and reportedly informed that her private parts were torn and the tear reached her rectum. As per Baghel, "She was bleeding profusely and needed corrective surgery. It will take months for her to heal".

The police has lodged an FIR against the accused under Section 294(deals with any obscene act in public place), Section 323(voluntarily causing hurt), Section 373 and 376 (punishment for sexual assault), Section 394 (Voluntarily causing hurt in committing robbery) of the Indian Penal Code.
The woman, a mother of two, is battling for her life in the hospital. The Superintendent of Police of Dhar, Aditya Pratap Singh has informed to a media agency that the search for the accused has started and they will be arrested soon.
