Who Is Sreeja Konidela? Megastar Chiranjeevi's daughter in the news

Amidst the reported separation rumours of Sreeja Konidela and Kalyaan Dhev, Sreeja made headlines as she dropped her husband's name from her social media handle name. She married the businessman Kalyaan Dhev in a grand ceremony in 2016 at Bengaluru. 

Who Is Sreeja Konidela?

Sreeja Konidela is the youngest daughter of Telugu megastar and former politician Chiranjeevi and Surekha Konidela. Born and brought up in Chennai, Tami Nadu, she has two siblings- Sushmita and Ram Charan. While Sushmita Konidela is the customer designer and owns a production house named Gold Box Entertainment, Ram Charan is an actor, producer, and entrepreneur working mainly in Telugu cinema. 

Sreeja Konidela was born in 1988 and did her schooling at Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan School of Chennai. In 2007, she eloped with a person named Sirish Bharadwaj and got married at the Arya Samaj Mandir in Secunderabad, where there were people from the media and the police as well. She was blessed with a baby girl named Nivrithi in 2009 with Bharadwaj.

However, the relationship broke apart when Konidela filed for a divorce in 2011 accusing him of dowry harassment. The court approved her plea and she got divorced by the end of the year and got custody of her child. Later on, Chiranjeevi brought both Konidela and Nivrithi back to their home. 

In 2016, she married her childhood friend and actor, Kalyaan Dhev known for his movies like Vijetha (2018) and Kinnerasani (2021). The marriage that took place in a Bengaluru farmhouse was performed in a grand style. Their reception was thrown at The Park Hyatt, Hyderabad, which also had many guests from the movie fraternity in attendance. It included famous stars like Nagarjuna and Amala Akkineni, Allu Arjun among the many others guests who made it to the event. The couple was blessed with a girl child in 2018 and they named her Navishka. 

The 33-year-old made headlines as she changed her name from social media platform. The previous name "Sreeja Kalyan" was changed to Sreeja Konidela, sparking divorce rumours among the couple. Even her husband Dhev did not post anything on his social media platform since Christmas, 2021. Konidela is an avid social media user and constantly post pictures about her Zen practices, family love, travels, and food habits.
