- He is a native of Jaunpur district in Uttar Pradesh.
- Pawan had to face a lot of challenges during his LLB studies also. Securing admission was a challenge after he ticked the transgender column in the form. He was admitted under a quota after speaking to the college administration and trustee of the college.
- Pawan tried to hide his real identity among his peers as he knew the consequences of doing this. He didn't want anything to come in way of his studies.
- Pawan also wants to become an IPS officer. He plans to go to Allahabad to prepare for UPSC exams to fulfil IPS dreams.
- He said in an interview that he is the second advocate in India after Satyashri Sharmila. “I have got myself enrolled in the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa. I will start practising in Dindoshi court from next year. I will try to give full legal support to the people of my community as they are subject to cruelty and social discrimination,” Yadav added.
- He also said that there are so many people who do not want to sit in a train with people from the transgender community. He aims to change this
- “I registered with the Bar of Maharashtra and Goa. I will start practicing at Dindoshi court from next year, ” Yadav told Mid-day.
- According to Yadav, the Maharashtra authorities should formulate a scheme to uplift the transgender group.
- In an interview, he also revealed that he was sexually abused at 14.
