The woman in question had recovered from COVID-19 and hugged the doctor after she was ready to leave the Kolkata Medical College.

On her way home, she made sure to hug the doctor who assisted her during her long battle and showered love and blessing on the doctor,” reads the caption, which was translated from Bengali. It has already gained over 10,000 likes.

A nursing college located in Maharashtra's coastal region of Sindhudurg has now become a COVID-care centre that treats underprivileged people for free. Everything from their food, treatment and medicines is totally free of charge. “The public healthcare system in the region is burdened and people are either not getting beds or they avoid going to hospitals out of fear,” says Umesh Galvankar, president of the charitable trust that runs the college.
