Seema Kumari, a 10-year-old schoolgirl of Bihar’s Jamui district whose video of travelling one km on one leg to reach school went viral, can now walk down to her school with both her legs albeit wearing an artificial limb provided by the state education department.
Two years ago, her leg came under the wheels of a tractor in her native village Fatehpur and that's when she lost it. She underwent treatment but the doctors said that she might die if her injured leg was not severed. Despite the tragedy, she did not lose hope and wanted to continue her education. She managed to go to school 1km away from her home with a school bag on her back. Here's the video.
After her video went viral, Jamui district magistrate Awanish Kumar and other senior officials went to Fatehpur village and gifted her a tri-cycle. As per reports, discussions on getting her an artificial leg are also going on.

I am sending the ticket, the time has come to walk on two feet.)”
