The poster offered an intriguing proposition to those unable to attend the Maha Kumbh Mela in person. It claimed that someone else would take a dip in the holy waters on behalf of the devotees, allowing them to enjoy the spiritual benefits without leaving their homes.

“A once in 144 years opportunity ! This is your last chance for the divine Mahakumbh snan. Don’t miss it. Send us your photo, WhatsApp it, and we’ll take a photocopy of your photo and dip it in the holy waters. Benefits of this : cleanse your soul, you will receive divine blessings, and your ancestors will bless you for taking a dip in the Mahakumbh. Rs. 500/- only. #MAHAKUMBH #Lastchance #Holysnan,” the poster read.

Despite the doubts surrounding its authenticity, the advertisement caught the public's imagination and spread rapidly across social media platforms. People were left debating whether the service was a clever marketing tactic, a joke, or something more concerning.
