Ukrainian woman plays Queen's iconi song "We Are The Champions" after reaching Poland. It took her three days and three sleepless nights to cross over into safety. As soon she reached Poland, she played the song on a piano and soon enough, people gathered around her, taking in the visuals and the music. As Ukraine continues to hold ground against Russia, this is one of the many humbling images to emerge from the war zone.

On Thursday last week, Russian President Vladimir Putin attacked Ukraine, an independent nation that was previously a part of the Soviet Union. The reason given by Putin for the attack was that he wanted to demilitarise the country as Russia felt threatened. This move of declaring war on a fellow country has been massively criticised by people all across the globe.

Over the last few days, Russia has reportedly attacked several civilian areas across the country, including a holocaust memorial, and Europe's largest nuclear power plant- Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. More that 2,000 Ukrainians have do far lost their lives in the war. There have also been reports suggesting that many women have been giving birth to their children in bomb shelters as missiles continue to rain down on the country's capital Kyiv and other prominent cities.

Ukrainian Woman Plays Queen Song

Visuals have been coming in from bomb shelters where women are giving birth to children or getting married. Parallelly, pictures and videos of what people who are fleeing Ukraine going through has also made their way to the news. Suffering is extremely cold climates with depleting food supply and trying to find convenience to take them to the neighbouring countries like Poland.

In this latest viral video, a Ukrainian woman sits with a phone and plays the song "We Are The Champions" by Queen on a piano to spectators. She made it to Poland after three days of travel in harsh weather.

Recently, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky made his first official appearance in a press conference since the war began. He invited journalists to a building that is reportedly fortified with sandbags. Zelensky said that he is proud of the ordinary Ukrainian resistance to the attacks. "That is why I am so strong and so decisive. We have a special people, an extraordinary people."
