The exemplary stories of these stellar women have inspired countless others to pursue their dreams for alternate careers and start-ups. Last year, The Times of India launched Times She Unltd. Entrepreneur Awards to honour the women who started from home and now run successful businesses.
The first chapter witnessed over 5,000 applications from enthusiastic women entrepreneurs in the fields of beauty, food, and fashion. Top 60 entrepreneurs across India were awarded after several rounds of shortlisting and detailed rounds of jury meets.

Spotlight on women entrepreneurs
The second chapter of the Times She Unltd. Entrepreneur Awards will bring the spotlight on women entrepreneurs from the fields of Travel & Experiences, Fitness & Wellness and Home & Living across the cities of Mumbai, Delhi NCR (including Noida and Gurugram) and Bengaluru and provide them with a platform to share their compelling stories with aspiring women entrepreneurs. The platform is seeking novel stories of women who have started their own enterprises with their out-of-the-box business ideas and creative work-spaces and have proven their mettle with their business acumen.
Three phases of the awards
The awards are divided into three phases. The first starts with the call for entries. The submissions can be made on the official website www.timessheunltd.com where the entrepreneurs can share their entries through a secured portal or nominate women who are worthy. This phase is currently on-going with the last date of entry submission being 25th March 2020.
Post the call for entries, is the shortlisting round wherein the top participants are reviewed o the basis of their eligibility and an internal jury. This is then followed with a face to face meeting with an esteemed jury panel of Nawaz Modi Singhania, Yasmin Karachiwala, Sabina Chopra, Nisha Jamval, Wanitha Ashok, Shaili Chopra, Vandana Mohan and many more. The jury will review and meet the finalists at the jury meet hosted in their respective cities. At these meets, each finalist shall have the opportunity to present their story, business idea and entrepreneurship journey to the jury. The winners will then be felicitated at an event which will be widely covered through print and digital media of TOI.
A platform for women entrepreneurs

The long list of eligible participants in this chapter will include, but not limited to, personal or corporate trainers, fitness studio owners, fitness accessories/ equipment/ apparel manufacturers, app or online services that focus on mental and physical fitness; manufacturer, distributor or designers of home products, bloggers/ vloggers of home improvements, service providers for gardens, online services or apps for home improvements and makeovers; travel bloggers or vloggers, online or offline travel agents, holiday planners, tour package operators, language translators, adventure sports equipment manufacturers, and retailers, designer of travel accessories, travel catering services, tourist vehicle services, gift and curio shop operators and so on.
