There have been many cases of mishaps reported in public areas like parks, grocery stores, and restaurants. You never know when a simple interaction can turn into something gravely dangerous. That's exactly what happened with three young friends who went to Ecuador for a simple beach trip.

The girls wanted to have a trip like normal young people but they never knew that it would be their last trip as they were going to get involved in a situation that would lead to their deaths. Bodies of three friends were found buried in Ecuador on April 5 and the police have found some leading facts of what might have happened that night.

  1. 19-year-old Denisse Reyna, 21-year-old Yuliana Macias, and 22-year-old Nayeli Tapia went to Ecuador for a friend's beach trip. Apparently, things didn't go as planned because they soo went missing.
  2. The three girls went missing on April 4. Reyna, who was an agricultural engineering student, was the first one to go missing followed by Tapia, a mother, and Macias, a singer.
  3. Before going missing, Reyna messaged her friends saying that she suspected that something might happen to her and told her friends she loved them just in case she didn't tell them enough.
  4. Tapia too sensed the danger after Reyna went missing and messaged her location to her sister just in case at around 11 pm on April 4.
  5. On April 5, fishermen near the Esmeraldas River in Ecuador's Quininde saw a dog sniffing the ground nearby and they too noticed a foul smell coming from the same direction. Police were informed and three bodies were found in a pit around the same location that Tapia sent her sister.
  6. The bodies, identified to be of the three friends, were clad in light beach clothes and had their throats slit. The girls were reportedly tortured and their hands and mouth were tied before burying them.
  7. The police found a mobile phone at the location and used it to investigate what happened and who was behind the gruesome crime. Police is suspecting it to be a serial killing case but have not yet come to any conclusion.
