BJP manifesto driving license promise: In its manifesto for the Tamil Nadu assembly elections 2021, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) mentioned it would provide free driving licenses to women between the ages 18 and 23 for two-wheeler vehicles. The saffron party has also promised free tablet devices to school students of classes 8 and 9.

Union Ministers Nitin Gadkari and VK Singh released the manifesto on Monday in Chennai. BJP is contesting the election with party partners All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK), who are currently in power.

BJP announced it aims to make Tamil Nadu the number one state in south India, as far as business is concerned. The party put focus on social welfare by announcing the building of multi-speciality hospitals and free piped drinking water supply to all households under the Jal Jeevan Mission.
