Taj Employee Sharing Umbrella With Stray Dog: A picture of an employee at the Taj Hotel recently went viral on the internet where the man was seen holding an umbrella for a stray dog as it was pouring. The picture was shared by Ratan Tata on his Instagram.

The industrialist shared a post on his Instagram on Thursday where a Taj employee was seen holding an umbrella for a stray dog on a rainy day.

The post was captioned, “Sharing comfort with the strays this monsoon. This Taj employee was kind enough to share his umbrella with one of the many strays while it was pouring quite heavily. A heartwarming moment captured in the busy hustle of Mumbai. Gestures like these go a long way for stray animals❤️"

The picture received more than a million likes and the comment section was flooded with praises from netizens who were touched by the sweet gesture.

Some even shared their stories with stray dogs. One user mentioned that they had recently adopted a stray dog while said, “This truly is a million dollar picture.”

Another user expressed gratitude and commented, “These small actions show how a person really is and this man is a gem. Content creator Scherezade Shroff reportedly said that according to her the dog’s moniker was “Speedy” and was known so by the employees of the hotel.

Earlier, the Former Chairman of the Tata Group shared a post on his Instagram featuring two dogs, one on his either side.

The photo was captioned as, “A few heartwarming moments with the adopted Bombay House dogs this Diwali, especially Goa, my office companion❤️”

The Bombay House which is the head office of the group has reportedly built a kennel especially for stray dogs which provides them with space for themselves. A play area, toys, food and water are a part of the kennel. Shantanu Naidu’s story went viral on social media in 2019 and he also landed a job with Tata when designed collars for dogs that had self-reflectors after having witnessed the death of a stray dog. The 27-year-old’s innovation was noticed by the philanthropist.
