A 7-year-old Syrian girl and her younger girl were trapped under debris after the devastating earthquake. A photograph of the young girl shielding her younger brother from the falling debris went viral on Twitter.
The two were rescued from the rubble of the collapsed building and they were trapped there for hours.

Minor Girl Working As Domestic Help Sexually Assaulted
A 14-year-old girl working as a domestic help was rescued from a home in Gurugram on Tuesday, February 7.
According to police officials, the minor was sexually assaulted by the couple who stayed in the house. The minor alleged that she was confined in the house for the past five months.
Assistant Commissioner of Police (Crime) Preet Pal Sangwan said the girl was tortured and sexually harassed by the couple for months.
Delhi Transport Corporation To Recruit 100 Women Bus Drivers
The Delhi government is set to recruit at least 100 more women as Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) bus drivers by the end of April.
Officials said the recruitment was part of the ongoing plan to narrow a major gender divide in the city's public transport.
As per official data, Delhi has just 34 women bus drivers, 33 of the women were hired over the past couple of years. Meanwhile, around 15,000 men operate DTC buses.
Delhi High Court Says Virginity Test On Accused Is Unconstitutional
The Delhi High Court declared that the virginity test conducted on a female detainee, accused under investigation, or in custody is unconstitutional and sexist.
The directions were passed by the high court in a case pertaining to the virginity test conducted on Sister Sephy, the accused in the Sister Abhaya murder case in Kerala.
