The South Korean Government announced that it might be abolishing the gender equality ministry and according to the reports, "The government says its services will be protected, but that it’s time to support women and men equally." In retaliation, thousands of women have taken their protest to the streets. Reports say that more than 800 organisations have come together for the cause. Representation of women in executive positions in the country is low making it harder for women to be heard.

Thailand Princess Suffers A Heart Attack

Bajrakitiyabha is next on the throne of Thailand after King Vajiralongkorn, but while walking her dog, the princess suffered a heart attack and she wasn't able to be resuscitated on the spot and taken to a hospital in Bangkok where is currently on life support. The princess had a law degree and held the rank of general and chief of staff for the Royal Security Command.

87 YO Woman Gets Second Masters Degree

Varatha Shanmuganathan becomes the oldest woman in Canada to get a graduate degree and the oldest person to have received a master's degree from York University. The 87-year-old was in her 50s when she got her first master's degree and soon after moved to Canada.
