Sneha stated that she committed more time to the JEE Main preparation than the board exams, studying for more than 12 hours daily. She also avoided social media and other pastimes in order to concentrate on getting ready for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE).

Reportedly unwilling to enrol into any coaching centre or Kota, she added, “I had heard stories of students experiencing loneliness while their preparation at Kota. I did not want to go through the same. Staying close to family was a great mental support and morale booster. Hence, it worked out well for me.”

Student Pareek attends ALLEN Career Institute in Guwahati. Pareek studied for JEE Main exams in 2021, 2020, and 2019 and didn't miss any of the coaching centre's mock exams.

According to NDTV, despite being pleased with her result, Pareek is now concentrating on the difficult and distinct JEE Advanced exam. Sneha said as quoted, “Following the JEE Main exam, I was confident of getting a good score. So I started preparing for JEE Advanced the day after and followed the institute's guidance for preparation. As JEE Advanced tests concepts, so I also studied NCERT, other books to have clear concepts on the subjects.”
