Rajshri Deshpande's Netflix Sex Scene Goes Viral As Porn Clip

Actress Rajshri Deshpande's sex scene in Netflix series Sacred Games has gone viral as a porn clip. The actress said she felt disgusted at the turn of events.

The scene

Deshpande plays the role of a gangster's wife. In the 30-second clip from Sacred Games, she is seen as having consensual sex with the gangster.

In a report by BBC, the actress expressed her disappointment and said that people should be careful while sharing such out-of-context material.

Deshpande has been targeted by many for the bold scene. She has also been called a porn star on social media. Some social media users also said that she should be highly ashamed of the scene.

Replying to such comments, she said, "Why should I be ashamed? I have complete faith in my character and the importance of that scene to the story."

She added, "My intention was right. I haven't done any wrong."

Viral on Whatsapp

The clip has been circulated across Whatsapp. Many users also went on to upload it on Youtube.

Asking people to be more responsible while using social media, Deshpande said, "If you get a message like this, you need to think about what you should do with it."

She added, "Technology is a weapon, it can be used to destroy someone or save them."

Not the first controversy

Sacred Games, starring Bollywood biggies like Saif Ali Khan, Radhika Apte and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, has been surrounded by controversies ever since it was released this month.

Earlier, it attracted political attention as a scene in the web series talked about the former prime minister Rajiv Gandhi in a derogatory manner.

The series, which is Netflix's first original drama in India, is being seen as the company's way to capture the market.
