US Woman Kidnapped As Baby Reunited With Family
Five decades of searching yielded fruitful after a woman from the United States who went missing as a baby was reunited with her family.
On August 23, 1971, Melissa Highsmith was kidnapped from her home in Fort Worth, Texas by a person posing as a babysitter. In September this year, Highsmith's relatives got a tip that their kidnapped daughter was near Charleston, which is more than 1,100 miles from Fort Worth.
Highsmith's identity was confirmed by DNA test results and her birthmark. According to the family's statement, she met her mother, father, and two of her four siblings earlier this week,
Protester Runs Onto World Cup Pitch
A protester ran onto the pitch during Monday's World Cup match between Portugal and Uruguay held in Qatar. The protester was holding a rainbow flag and a shirt with "Respect For Iranian Women" on the back and "Save Ukraine" on the front.
The protester is believed to be Mario Ferri of Italy.
Portuguese professional footballer Ruben Neves urged Qatari authorities to show leniency and said, "we are all with them and the message on his shirt".
Man Murdered By Wife And Stepson
The Delhi Police cracked a shocking case where a man was brutally murdered by his wife and stepson and then chopped into 10 pieces and stored in the fridge for days.
The accused woman, Poonam alleged that she was furious after she learnt her husband, Anjan Das sold all of her jewellery and sent the money to his first wife. She alleged that her late husband was abusive and she took her son Deepak's help to kill her husband.
Deepak confessed to the crime and alleged that Das used to torture his mother, which stemmed his motive to murder him.

Widow And Four Paramours Murder Lover
A 30-year-old widow from Manpur, Bihar allegedly had relations with five women, one of whom she murdered with her four other lovers.
The woman allegedly had some differences with her lover, Tripit Sharma, and decided to murder him with the help of her four paramours. The five accused took Sharma to an uninhabited to a newly constructed home and pushed him into a water tank.
Four Students Detained For Harassing Female Teacher
Four students have been detained for allegedly harassing a female teacher at a school in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh.
The four students, including one female student, made objectionable statements against the 27-year-old teacher. The students said "I love you" to her inside school premises, addressed her as "jaan" and recorded a video of the same.
Shraddha Kapoor To Take On Role Of Kashmiri Woman Who Killed A Terrorist
Actor Shraddha Kapoor will take on the role of Rukhsana Kausar in her upcoming film. Kausar is the Kashmiri woman gained fame after she killed a terrorist and forced the other militants to flee.
Rukhsana Kausar was 27 years old when three members of Lashkar-e-Taiba raided her home. She emerged from her hiding place beneath a cot and attacked the militant's commander, Abu Osama with an axe. Reportedly, she later shot him with his own gun, took Osama's assistant's gun and handed it to her brother. Her family members joined her and forced the militants to run.
