Actor Priyanka Chopra and pop star Nick Jonas are now officially engaged. After months of speculations, they got engaged in a traditional ceremony today at Priyanka Chopra’s home.

The Ceremony

Nick came to Mumbai on Friday with his parents, Denise and Paul Kevin Jonas Sr. The roka was conducted at Priyanka’s home this morning. Close family members and friends started arriving in slowly for Priyanka and Nick’s roka ceremony.

Priyanka’s manager Anjula Acharia and friend Maneesh Goyal were there in attendance. Also present was Priyanka’s cousin and actor Parineeti Chopra. Looking lovely in a traditional ensemble, Parineeti looked excited to be part of her sister’s celebrations.

As per reports, it will be followed by a big party with friends and family later tonight. Many Bollywood celebrities are expected to turn up for the party. The couple has requested guests and family members to not use their cell phones while at the venue, as per reports. Nick’s brothers Joe and Kevin Jonas will be joining their family for the celebrations later.

Priyanka and Nick both chose traditional attire for their roka. While Priyanka chose a yellow suit for the rituals, Nick opted for a white kurta pyjama.

The couple went out on a dinner date, with their families, last night. They arrived hand-in-hand at a five-star hotel.

The rumours of Chopra’s engagement with Nick Jonas caught up like wildfire after the Quantico actor decided to walk out of Salman Khan starrer ‘Bharat’. However, recently, Priyanka did not shy away from flaunting her beautiful engagement ring at a party. In a picture with Raveena Tandon, the actress happily revealed her huge engagement ring, much to the delight of her fans. With many high-profile celebrity weddings so far and many more that are scheduled to take place in the coming months, 2018 is turning out to be an eventful year for Bollywood.

We wish them all the happiness!
