Pregnant Woman Set Ablaze, FIR Filed Against Husband

A 26-year-old woman who is seven months pregnant was allegedly set on fire by her husband. Initially, the woman told the investigating officer that it was an accident at a bonfire at the house.

Later, she alleged to the police that her husband was harassing her and set her ablaze during a fight.

She suffered 20-3o percent burn injuries on both hands, legs, face, and chest and is currently undergoing treatment.

Uttar Pradesh Molestation Accused Arrested Again For Sexual Abuse

A man released from jail on bail in a case of molestation of a school girl was arrested for allegedly molesting the girl and threatening her to withdraw the case in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.

The accused, identified as Anas was arrested and sent to jail two years ago after a girl filed a molestation case against him. He was recently released on bail and allegedly started following the girl and molested her again.

Harvey Weinstein's Rape Conviction Sentencing Delayed

Harvey Weinstein's sentencing on his second rape and sexual assault conviction in Los Angeles has been delayed until February.

He was sentenced to three counts of rape and sexual assault in Los Angeles on February 23, 2022.

ICICI CEO Chanda Kochhar And Husband Likely To Be Released From Jail Today

ICICI Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Chanda Kochhar and her husband Deepak were arrested in connection with an alleged multi-crore money laundering scam. They are likely to be released from jail on Tuesday, January 10.

On Monday, January 9, the Kochhars were granted interim bail in the case.
