The actor was born on April 16, 1990, and is also a trained Kathak dancer who joined the Indian film industry in 2013. She made her debut with Kiss, a Telugu romantic comedy that starred Adivi Sesh as the male lead. The actor went on to star in two more Telugu films, Joru in 2014 and Asura in 2015.
Her Hindi debut was with the 2015 film Jazbaa alongside Aishwarya Rai, Irrfan Khan and Shabana Azmi. She played the role of Sia, a young girl who was raped and murdered by Chandan Roy Sanyal's character Niyaaz Sheikh.
