Unilever, the consumer goods giant, recently, revealed the first batch of Foundry30 SEAA at Millennial 20/20 in Singapore. The popular online media portal for women - POPxo is the only Indian company invited to participate in the Unilever Foundry30 Southeast Asia and Australasia (SEAA).

The Foundry is an exclusive programme for leading start-ups and innovators to explore business opportunities with Unilever. For which, the consumer goods company chooses start-ups based on a rigorous assessment of its existing potential and operation in the SEAA region.

Through the program, POPxo will get access to new briefs from brands from Unilever’s portfolio. It will also get mentorship, collaboration and guidance from Unilever’s partners and executives and invitations to key global events.

Over an email interaction, POPxo’s Priyanka Gill told SheThePeople.TV, “After a rigorous selection process, we were chosen from among many performing companies. It is indeed an honour to be the first Indian company to be included in the Unilever Foundry 30 SEAA.”

She added, “Our business milestones have surprised many. Specially the sheer number of website visits we get in a day. The Head of Unilever Foundry SEAA and LEVEL3, Barbara Guerpillon also commented on POPxo’s growth. She said, “POPxo has achieved great growth and scale in India, reaching an audience of 11.2 million savvy consumers. We welcome POPxo to Unilever Foundry 30 and look forward to exploring ways to work closely together.”
For the time being, the collaboration has resulted in POPxo shifting base to Unilever LEVEL3 workspace in Singapore from October 23 for a week to showcase its work.
