Police Alarmed Over Grenade-Shaped Sex Toy In Germany's Bavaria State

The police in the German state of Bavaria came across a grenade-shaped object which turned out to be a sex toy. It was found in a forest area in Bavaria on Monday evening.

A woman went out jogging in the forest near Sonnen on Monday evening and noticed what she thought was a hand grenade in a transparent plastic bag. She then immediately alerted the police regarding the same. "After inspecting the plastic bag it became evident that it was only a fake plastic grenade," read the police statement.

Besides the sex toy, two unused condoms, an empty bottle of lubricant and a USB cable were also found inside the bag. A bomb squad was also caused to inspect the "bomb."

Police say that the bag containing the sex toy had somewhat decomposed

"An internet search confirmed the suspicions, there are actually hand grenade sex toys," said the police.

The police also added that the bag containing the sex toy had decomposed, and must have been at the spot for quite some time. However, they still don't know about how the items got there in the first place, and why they even stayed there. The police have already disposed of the items.

It is essential to note that old and undiffused bombs are found quite frequently in Germany. They have also led to large scale evacuations.

In June 2019, residents of Ahlbach, southern Germany woke up startled after hearing a sudden blast. The bomb had left behind a crater that was 33 feet wide and 13 feet deep. The German police then said that it is likely that the blast was caused by a bomb from the Second World War. Then in September 2019, about 60,000 people had to be evacuated, in Frankfurt after a bomb weighing almost 3000 pounds was found.

In April 2018, the police had defused a bomb from World War II, which weighed around 1,100 pounds. It was found in Berlin.
