In the video, SDM Shukla is seen screaming at the mother Neha Bharadwaj, who is sitting on the ground with her husband, daughter and a few other parents. She is inconsolable when the SDM starts screaming at her and says, "Why don't you understand? I am asking you to keep quiet."

To which Neha asked her, "Was it your son?" The officer shouts again and says, "How many times should I try and make you understand." Neha says, "I have understood enough. He is silent now."

This video has gone viral on social media and people are asking questions about how can a government officer speak so insensitively to a mother, someone who has lost a loved one. They also pointed out if this is what Yogi (CM Yogi Adityanath's) governance looks like.

The mother alleges that they had previously complained to the driver about the fact that no one was there to supervise the children. She also alleged that they had an argument with the principal on this as well on April 1. Although, Shukla said that the deceased boy had allegedly not approached the teacher, who was on board. She also said that there were lesser students than seats.

The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath has stepped in and asked for a report on the issue. He also directed action against the school and ordered fitness checks for the school buses.
