Odisha Woman Cricketer Found Dead

Reportedly Rajashree Swain the cricket from Odisha was missing since January 11, 2023. On Friday, January 13, Swain's body was found hanging from a tree in the Gurudijhatia forest in Cuttack. According to reports, the family of Swain claimed that she was murdered following the injury marks found on her body along with eyes damaged. The cricketer did not make it to the final list of the Odisha state women's cricket team and in her last conversation with her coach, she informed him about not being able to make it to the practice as she was visiting her father in Puri. The investigation is still going on the case.

Miss Thailand Wore A Dress Made Out Of Soda Tabs

71st Miss Universe kicked off this week and in the preliminary competition, Miss Thailand caught the attention of everyone with the dress she was wearing. Sueangam-iam comes from a humble background where her parents were garbage collectors and she grew up seeing garbage piles and recyclables. Sueangam-iam's dress was made out of the soda can pull tabs weaved with crystals and it was her way of paying homage to her parents and the upbringing she had. Read more.

DTC Hires 13 More Women Drivers

The Delhi Transport Corporation has now hired 34 women bus drivers in total which highest in the country yet. According to reports, there are  7,379 buses and 15,000 drivers and among the newly hired 13 drivers, 10 got trained under Mission Parivartan which was launched to train women and give them licence for heavy motor driving and some of them even come from Delhi and other states like Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Rajasthan and Haryana.

Uorfi Javed And Chitra Wagh Feud

BJP leader Chitra Wagh filed a police complaint against fashion influencer Uorfi Javed for allegedly indulging in nudity on the streets of Mumbai. Javed replied on her social media that she is proud of what she wears and if Wagh discloses her earnings, Javed would happily go to jail. Yesterday Javed went to Maharashtra State Commission for Women as she claimed that Wagh's comments about her dressing choices have instigated attacks on her. According to reports, Javed's lawyer claimed that they would ask for a restraining order against the politician and request her to not make such comments in future.

Shankar Mishra's Lawyer Claims Co-passenger Peed On Herself

Shankar Mishra who was arrested recently for peeing on a co-passenger on a flight has now claimed that the woman had peed on herself due to her health conditions. The lawyer of Mishra also claimed that the woman was a dancer for 30 years and apparently Bharatnatyam dancers face this issue of urinary incontinence. Read more.
