The high court bench comprising of justice BK Narain and justice AK Mishra approved of the parole about two weeks back after hearing of the accused’s mother’s health condition. Talwar contended that all her siblings are outside India which leaves her mother with no one during her bad health.

The court permitted the parole on the condition that she gets back in jail as soon as her siblings come back within three weeks.

Talwar was arrested along with her husband Rajesh Talwar in the murder case of their daughter Aarushi and servant Hemraj in 2008 at their Noida residence. 14-year-old Aarushi’s dead body was found in her room on May 16 and their servant’s dead body was found a day after on the terrace of their house. The couple, who are dentists by profession and owned a clinic, has been found guilty of killing their own daughter and servant, and were then awarded lifetime imprisonment by the court in 2013.
