The National Cadet Corps recently announced a historic milestone with 917 female cadets at this year's Republic Day Camp. Women make up a significant portion of the 2,361 total cadets at the RD Camp 2025. Although women make up less than half of the contingent, their rising numbers underscore progress towards gender parity and inclusivity in the NCC. The camp includes cadets from across India, including around 135 cadets from 18 friendly countries under the Youth Exchange Programme.
