DMK MP Kanimozhi Smiles While Smashing Sexist Question

MP Kanimozhi: DMK MP Kanimozhi Karunanidhi gently shut down a male reporter for his sexist question.

In a video which has now gone viral, Thambi Tamilarasan, reporter, poses the question, "Do you cook?" The smiling Kanimozhi answers him with another question. “Why is that you don’t ask male politicians this question?" she asks.

The anchor then goes on to defend himself by saying that she is a political leader and a political leader. MP Kanimozhi then asks why he never asked the same question to her father late M Karunanidhi who was the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. Thambi can be seen smiling meekly and asks her if she ever cooked her father's favourite dish fish curry for him.  “Dad loved only the fish curry made by mum. But I have, in the past, cooked for him and he liked it. But then all fathers like their daughters’ cooking,”  she answers.

The clip of DMK MP Kanimozhi and her interaction with Thambi has gone viral on social media. Many people condemned the anchor for his sexist question.

The finance minister of India slammed a male reporter for shutting down a female reporter. He didn't let her ask her question. Nirmala then said, "Why did you say only to her?
