Indian producer, actor, screenwriter and director Prakash Jha who is best known for socio-political films like Damul, Mrityudand and others, will now be seen starring in Matto Ki Saikil in which he plays the character of a labourer whose story revolved around his cycle. According to the trailer of M. Gani's film, the story takes place on the 'road to destiny on a bicycle of hope.'
The &t=130s">trailer showcases a rural community in the distance with beautiful fields. Since Matto must provide for his wife and their two young girls, he commutes a considerable distance to the city each day to work as a construction labourer. His most valuable possession is a bicycle that has seen extensive use over the course of 20 years.

One day, there is an accident, and the bicycle is so badly hurt that it can no longer be used. Even while it could seem like a little issue to someone else, it severely damages his situation. We wonder if he will be able to resume his life of experiencing the modest joys of everyday living.
The film which premiered at the 25th Busan International Film Festival in 2020, will soon be released at movie theatres. Spouse of Prakash Jha, Deepti Naval uploaded the motion poster of the film on her Instagram account, captioning, "Please watch the trailer - I love this film!"
