Uttar Pradesh Man Posts Pictures Of His Wife Taking A Bath To Increase His Followers

After the wife found out about the incident, her husband informed her that he uploaded the pictures on his social media to increase the number of his followers.

An Uttar Pradesh man uploaded images of his wife taking a bath on his Facebook account in an attempt to increase the number of followers.

The woman asked her husband to delete the photographs on his Facebook profile but he refused. She lodged a complaint with the police and the account was deleted.

The police in Jasrana, in the Firozabad district, registered a case against the man under the Information Technology (IT) Act, section 67.

Man Posts Picture Of Wife Bathing

According to the complaint, the husband lives in Uttam Nagar in Delhi and works in a circus. His wife described him as a social media addict and said that they would often talk through video calls. She alleged that during a video call, her husband recorded her while she was taking a bath and uploaded pictures of the same on his Facebook account.

After the wife found out about the incident, her husband informed her that he uploaded the pictures on his social media to increase the number of his followers.

Superintendent of Police (rural) Ranvijay Singh said a case was registered based on the wife’s complaint and the couple would be summoned to the police station for recording statements. Singh said that after the couple recorded their statements, appropriate actions would be taken regarding the case.

In 2021, a man was arrested for allegedly creating fake social media profiles of a minor girl, posting fabricated nude photographs of her, and sent her obscene messages. The 25-year-old man targeted the class 8 student to seek revenge after she rebuked him for harassing her friend.

As per reports, the accused identified as Bharat Khatar had targeted six girls and one of the girls lodged a complaint against him. A case was registered against Khatar under sections of the Indian Penal Code and Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act (POCSO Act).

Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Atul Kumar Thakur said the accused confessed to creating fake profiles and posting morphed nude pictures. Khatar created three fake accounts under her name on Instagram and posted morphed pictures of her to take revenge.
