Electronic products are really fragile and have to be taken special care of so that they function properly. Even a little water or heat can ruin their quality or even damage them completely. However, can you imagine that a camera that was dropped in water, was found 13 years later from rubbish and during that time it was exposed to extreme environmental conditions yet somehow it was found with intact memory and pictures? As insane as it sounds, that's exactly what happened with Coral Amayi's blue-coloured Olympus camera that she lost in 2010 on a rafting trip to Colorado.

Lost Camera Found After 13 Years With Pictures Intact

While travelling from one fishing spot to another at the Colorado river, a fisherman named Spencer Grenier spotted a camera buried in the rubbish collected near the river. The spring is melting the winter snow in Colorado and a lot of things buried in the snow are resurfacing including this Olympus camera. Grenier took it home and found that its SD card somehow survived despite being broken. On going through its memory, he found videos and pictures clicked in July 2010. It included pictures of a wedding, a bachelorette party, river rafting in Colorado and videos of kids playing. The man decided to return these pictures to their rightful owner and began an online search.

He posted the pictures on his social media along with the time they were clicked and asked people if they knew anybody in the picture. Fortunately, a woman named Hally recognised herself in the photos as the bride, it was her wedding and bridal shower. It wasn't her camera so she reached out to her friends to find out if it belonged to one of them. It was later found that it belonged to Coral Amayi who messaged Grenier on finding the photos online. She lost it when she went rafting in the Colorado river in July 2010 and was happy to find those memories back.

She reportedly said that the lost-and-found camera reconnected her with her friends she stopped talking to and her babies. It brought them together and she was glad to find the photos.
