Danish Hussain, a resident of Ramgarh district of Jharkhand, has secured 80th rank in the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC). You must be wondering what makes his feat so special? He lost his father Jahudi Ansari recently. His family was also struggling financially. His mother Zarina Khatoon used to sell bangles from street to street to run the house. The Jharkhand mother was particular about her children’s education and wanted her kids to do well in their careers.
“No matter how difficult the circumstances are in life and even if the resources are limited, if you have the passion to do something, then you will definitely get success," said Danish.

- Danish passed class Xth from Shramik Vidyalaya Topa Pindra with 73 percent in 2013. He scored 76 percent in the class 12 examination from Markham College Hazaribagh.
- In 2019, he was also selected for a job in the railways but he didn't take it up because he wanted to do something big in his life. He started preparing for JPSC and fulfilled his dream.

UPSC success stories
UPSC 2021 results were also out recently and the internet was filled with stories of grit and determination. For instance, Ayushi is a visually impaired history teacher at a Delhi government school, who has secured the 48th rank in the Civil Services exam 2021. Despite her disability, she cracked the UPSC examination in her fifth attempt.
Another heart-warming story is of Aruna Mahalingappa whose father ended his life over debts when she was in the second semester of BE Instrumentation Technology at Siddaganga Institute of Technology. She did not let her personal setbacks affect her focus. Instead, she took up UPSC as a challenge and bagged rank 308 in the 2021 UPSC exam.
