An observer of a heated conversation between a group of teens and a man at a restaurant shared the details of it on Twitter. She congratulates the young brave hearts to try to stop the man from forcing his wife to drink alcohol at the restaurant and remarked "courage" because no one else at the place dared to do anything against it.
It is often told that young blood has the desire for revolution and a vision for a hopeful future, whereas the older one gets, the blood gets colder with a lack of passion and hope. Similarly, a group of teenagers who are studying at school tried to save a woman whose husband was forcing her to drink alcohol in the restaurant. The family even had their two daughters with them when the incident happened. A fellow customer at the restaurant documented the incident in writing and shared it on her Twitter account which has now gone viral.
Jhansi Teens Stop Man Forcing Wife Alcohol
Shweta Kothari, the customer who shared the incident on Twitter, wrote, "Last night we saw courage! We (me and my husband) sat at a table early, in a restaurant in Jhansi. Behind us were a bunch of 16-17 years old - and a couple with two daughters." She continued to write, "A few minutes later, the teenagers started shouting in the direction of the couple. This man was forcing the woman with him to have alcohol. Pushing it down her throat." At this point the teenagers from another table at the restaurant protested, Kothari described, "These teenagers, they stood up and started protesting. One of them said- ‘you can’t do that. She is not liking it, you are forcing her.’ The man, unabashed, stood and said, ‘she is my wife. I can do whatever. Who the hell are you people?’" And due to the intervention of the kids, the situation turned heated and the management had to step in, Kothari said, "Situation quickly escalated and the management intervened. The wife was petrified, did not say a word. It all ended with the man sitting there for next 20 mins, not touching his wife once, after these young people protested."
These kids, students of class 11th (I later got to know), could have ignored it, and look away. Instead they chose to intervene and correct a wrong.

That is courage. What we all need a bit of, everyday.
May the coming year bring us all courage.
Kothari ended the Twitter thread by asking the Member of Parliament of Jhansi, Anurag Sharma and the District Magistrate and an IAS officer to reward these teens for their courageous stunt.
Can Such Intervention Be Detrimental?
Some of the people on Twitter have also pointed out that in such cases intervention and public humiliation of abusive and toxic figures can turn gruesome for the victims in private later on. The man who can be assumed to behave this way with his wife on a regular basis did not expect such attention from people outside so one can expect how will he be taking it out on his wife when they get back home. Someone replied to the tweets saying, "The young always show more courage - see Iran, Afghanistan etc...before we start to overthink & play safe But I can't help wonder about what happened after the couple went home. A man who behaves like this in public is likely to be far far worse in private. Hope she's safe ". Another person pointed out the same thing and wrote, "The man was forcing his wife to drink, bad enough. Worse, he was behaving like a brute in front of his two daughters. How scared must they have been. Gives me the shivers to think what happened after this family went home."
