Jennifer Brady Enters Final: American player Jennifer Elizabeth Brady secured her first Grand Slam final at the Australian Open in Melbourne. On Thursday's semi-final clash, she edge passed Karolina Muchova 6-4, 3-6, 6-4 to make her first Grand Slam final appearance.

The No. 22 seed Brady will now have to face top-seeded Naomi Osaka in the finals on Sunday. Currently, the most in-form player, Osaka reached her fourth major final by beating  Serena Williams 6-3, 6-4 in straight sets at the semifinals of the Australian Open in Melbourne.

"I can't feel my legs right now. They're shaking, my heart is racing," Brady said in a post-match conference. "I think my improvement in recent years has come because of some experience I've gained, playing bigger matches, in bigger stadiums against more players. I think the more you can play these type of matches, the better player you become," she added.

Further talking about facing Osaka next, she said, "I think it will be a really tough match against Naomi Osaka. She's won a few Grand Slams, and we had a really great battle at the US Open, in the semi-final."

In the ongoing tournament, Brady defeated fellow American Jessica Pegula, 4-6, 6-2, 6-1, in her quarterfinal match. The 25-year-old's career reached new heights when she reached the semifinals of the US Open last year, narrowly losing out to Naomi Osaka. She was featured in the US Open's final four with Ashleigh Barty eventually winning the crown. World No. 1 Barty earlier lost her quarter-final match to World No. 27 Karolina Muchova.
