Actress Jennifer Aniston has been one of the most popular actresses on American television and films for over two decades now and unlike all other female artists, her personal life choices are under scrutiny on regular basis. When a 40–year old Leonardo DiCaprio leaves a club with 20 women, it is a celebratory moment for men all over the world. He’s the hero, who, with the weight gain and not-so-attractive beard, has still ‘got it’ but a successful woman who chooses to not procreate is termed ‘selfish.’

The Huffington Post reported: In an interview with Allure for the January 2015 issue, the actress said, "I don't like that people put on me, on women — that you've failed yourself as a female because you haven't procreated. I don't think it's fair. "You may not have a child come out of your vagina, but that doesn't mean you aren't mothering — dogs, friends, friends' children. This continually is said about me: that I was so career-driven and focused on myself; that I don't want to be a mother, and how selfish that is."

The actress is currently engaged to American actor, Justin Theroux and is the Godmother of fellow actress Courtney Cox’s daughter. Aniston, who is currently being praised for her work in “Cake,” says its sexist that women are considered to be “acting” only when they play deglamourized roles. She said, "A woman going physically unattractive is where you get recognition and some sort of respect. You read things like, 'Oh, finally, she's acting!’ Quite sexist, to be honest, because men don't get that."
