ISSF World Cup: Manu Bhaker Wins Another Gold In Mixed Team Event

Along with Manu, three other Indian shooters participated and excelled in the sport. Saurabh Tiwari won silver medal, while Shahzar Rizvi got India a bronze.

Manu Bhaker Wins 4 Golds

While India made a brilliant start at the ISSF Shooting World Cup on Thursday, the glory shone brighter on the second and concluding day of the world cup as well! The young Indian shooters made their mark in the 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team and 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team shooting sport winning India gold, silver and bronze medals.

Just yesterday, having broken Junior World Record with a gold medal, Manu Bhaker participated in the 10m Air Pistol mixed team event today. She won a gold medal for India in the event and her second in the world championship.  Along with Manu, three other Indian shooters participated and excelled in the sport. Saurabh Tiwari won silver medal, while Shahzar Rizvi got India a bronze. Abhishek Verma also played the Mixed Team event and could reach the final stages of the competition. Whereas in the 10m Air Rifle Event, Divyansh and Apoorvi Chandela from India won gold and silver medals respectively.

2019 ISSF Shooting World Cup's legendary victories

The ISSF Shooting World Cup final is being held in Putian, China. Yesterday’s events and the results made India proud as three young woman shooters Manu Bhaker, Elavenil Valarivan won dazzling gold medals in the woman’s 10m Air Rifle Event. Divyansh Singh Parmar also won the gold in the men’s event.

The glory was unabated when the next day of the world cup also registered gold, silver and bronze to India’s name.

In the 10m Air Pistol mixed team event, Manu Bhaker partnered with Russia's Artem Chernosov and bagged another gold medal in the world cup.

On the other hand, Saurabh Chaudhary Teamed up with Anna Korakaki and settled for silver in a nail-biting competition that finished the second after Manu’s team.

Shahzar Rizvi, another Indian shooter, teamed up with Serbia’s Zorana Arunovic and collected the bronze medal in the event. Abhishek Verma partnered with Korea’s Minjung Kim and successfully made to the final rounds.

A 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team event

According to News 18 in the 10M Air Rifle event, India again bagged gold and silver. Divyansh and Croatian legend Snjezana Pejcic and won the gold medal and won the sport.

On the other Apurvi Chandela and China's Zhang settled for the runners-up post (10m Air Rifle Mixed Team) and got India a silver medal.
