Inspector Rajeswari was Felicitated by Tamil Nadu Chief minister MK Stalin. The gutsy cop had carried an unconscious man, on her shoulders, yesterday to an autorickshaw in a bid to rush him to a nearby hospital in Chennai to admit heavy rains.

The Chennai woman cop won hearts after saving unconscious man as she carried him on shoulders amid rain to help reach a hospital. The video of her carrying the man on her shoulders went viral on the internet.

She was also lauded by top police officers for her work. Chennai Police Commissioner Shankar Jiwal said, "Inspector Rajeshwari has done excellent work. The Braveheart inspector later told ANI, "I gave first aid after which I carried him. An auto came there, we sent him to hospital. I visited the hospital, his mother was there. I assured them to not worry&that Police dept will support them. Doctor said that treatment is on & there's nothing to worry: " The man who Rajeshwari rescued is currently under treatment and recovering well.
Chennai yesterday face torrential rains and the Indian Meteorological Department forecasts light to moderate rain in the next two days. However, there could be a low pressure area on the South Andaman sea which may lead to rainfall on 13 November.
