"I've made it to Asia Book of Records & India Book of Records. I wrote class 10 exams at the age of 11 years and class 12 exams at age 12," Sujit further told ANI.
Tanishka Sujit passed her 10th class examination at the age of 11. She jumped to 10th standard soon after giving her fifth-grade exams. She was then directly promoted to 12th standard, seeing her extra-ordinary abilities and skills.
Tanishka Sujit claimed that she is a self-taught student who studies at home and is now studying at an Indore-based University while taking online classes amidst the pandemic.
Talking about the struggle her parents had to go through to get special permission for her admission to higher classes, Sujit expressed saying, "I am 13-year-old, when I was studying in fifth class my parents used to think I have extraordinary abilities and skills to do something different. They used to give me 10th class equations to solve and I passed that test. That's how I passed my 10th standard examination at the age of 11 and passed 12th class at the age of 12."
"Currently, I am studying in college. My mother used to go to Bhopal and requested the education department authorities to promote me directly to class 10th from class 5th. This took around one year and during that period I cleared 6th class examinations as well. I am one of a kind student in Madhya Pradesh who has jumped classes and is now studying in college at such a young age. I aspire to become a justice," she added.
Sujit is also a Kathak dancer who has performed in Europe too. She said that it was her father who recognised the talent at a very young age and started motivating her to go beyond. Unfortunately, he recently passed away due to COVID-19. Her parents used to run a small school in Indore but they never taught their daughter in their school, fearing that people might question her abilities.
She is now pursuing BA from the Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya college.
Her dream
According to a report in ibtimes, Sujit wants to join the Indian Police Service (IPS) and serve the country. She also wishes to do her PhD in dance.
