Indian wrestlers called off their three-day protest after Sports Minister Anurag Thakur assured that the Wrestling Federation of India President Brij Bhushan Singh will step down and an investigation will be conducted against him.
The wrestlers, including Vinesh Phogat, Bajrang Punia, Ravi Dahiya, and Sakshi Malik ended their protest after the second round of talks with Thakur.
The ministry decided to form an oversight committee which will investigate the allegations of sexual harassment of women wrestlers by Brij Bhushan Singh.

Pune Woman Forced To Eat Powdered Human Bones To Conceive Child
A woman was allegedly forced to eat powdered human bones by her in-laws and husband as part of a black magic ritual to conceive a child.
Following a complaint by the woman, the Pune police registered an FIR against seven people, including the husband, in-laws, and the occultist who advised the ritual.
Woman Officer To Lead Navy Team On Republic Day
Disha Amrith will be leading the naval marching contingent down the renamed Kartavya Path on Republic Day as a Lieutenant Commander.
The 29-year-old naval air operations officer will lead the 144-member contingent of young sailors. Another woman officer Sub Lieutenant Commander Valli Meena S will be one of the three platoon commanders.
108 Women Officers To Be Colonels
The Women Officers Special No. 3 Selection Board proceedings are currently underway at the Army headquarters for promotion from the rank of Lieutenant Colonel to Colonel.
As many as 244 women officers are being considered for promotion against 108 vacancies.
