After his partner cheated on him, Prateek Aaryan claimed to have earned 25,000 rupees. The couple had invested money in a fund using a joint account at the start of their relationship. A monthly payment of 500 rupees was made. The partners decided that the person who is cheated will receive the total sum of money deposited into the account.

What Is Heartbreak Insurance Fund?

The Twitter user wrote that because his girlfriend cheated on him, he earned 25,000 rupees.  He revealed that when the couple initially got together, they agreed to deposit 500 rupees into a joint account every month. The couple made a rule that if one of them cheated, their partner would receive the money in the joint account. He called it the "Heartbreak Insurance Fund (HIF)".

Many Twitter users have replied to his narrative with clever remarks. One user quipped that they were searching for investment choices and that the Heartbreak Insurance Fund seems to have "amazing returns". Another Twitter user joked that the mad "traded" a four-year romance for 25,000 rupees.

Almost seven lakh people have viewed and liked the viral tale on the microblogging platform. The Twitter user held back on revealing who his girlfriend was. Nevertheless, in response to a question about what he intended to do with the cash, Prateek tweeted that he most likely planned to use it to fund a new relationship.
