Stellar show by India’s  batswoman Harmanpreet Kaur who was 171 not out in the match against Australia. The cricketer put India to a commanding total of 281/4 picking 100 off 90 balls and 171 off just 115 balls.

The girl, born in Moga Punjab, not only slammed her 3rd ODI hundred but also became 5th highest run-scorer in women’s cricket. She is known for being a big hitter.

Harmanpreet Kaur aspires to be like Virender Sehwag.

She added another feather to her cap when she became first Indian to play in the second season of the Kia Super League, the English domestic T20 league, after signing for Surrey Stars.

She made her ODI debut at age of 20 against arch-rivals Pakistan women’s in March 2009 in the 2009 Women’s Cricket World Cup played at Bradman Oval, Bowral. In the match, she bowled 4 overs conceding 10 runs and also caught Armaan Khan off Amita Shrama
