Four Indian women in Global Diversity List 2016

At least four Indian women are part of the Top 50 Professionals in the Global Diversity List 2016 announced recently. This  recognises the achievements of individuals who have made the practice of diversity and inclusion their career and who currently work as a professional in the field of diversity.

Namrata Yadav – VP, Diversity & Inclusion Lead, Bank of America (Global)

Namrata Yadav is the head of Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) and the Learning and Inclusion strategy at Bank of America. In this role, she is responsible for the enterprise strategy and initiatives focused on creating a work environment and culture where all employees have the opportunity to achieve their full potential and contribute to the bank’s success. She has held posts in Chicago, Boston and Charlotte for the bank. Namrata is credited with creating a progressive strategy to engage the bank’s 220,000 employee workforce. Grown up in Gurgaon, Namrata is an armed forces child and moved to the United States a decade ago.

Nirmala Menon - CEO, Interweave Consulting (Global)

Nirmala Menon in her consulting role has helped a large number of organisations define and execute their D&I strategy across multiple industries. Nationally recognised, she has been engaged with various industry bodies in India, and is a sought-after speaker and media commentator. She contributed to the international advisory group of UN Global Compact & the UNIFEM, to formulate the Women's Empowerment Principles.

Kirti Lad - Director, Harvey Nash Executive Search (Asia)



As an executive search consultant she prepares women managers in Asia for appointment to corporate boards. She has been responsible for placing some of the world's most senior women in their board roles and operates the Asia division of Harvey Nash's Inspire network. Kirti grew up in the UK studying physics and chemistry before pursuing her interests in diversity and inclusion.
