She made it to the newspaper headlines as world’s heaviest woman. In February, 36-year-old Eman Ahmed was flown from Egypt and weighed 500 kg. She landed in Mumbai for her weight reduction treatment at Saifee Hospital, but now is all set to be moved to Abu Dhabi, in a regular aircraft on Sunday.
Dr Shamsheer Vayalil, founder of the Burjeel Hospital in Abu Dhabi has promised Eman and her sister a year of free of cost treatment at their services.
"They have committed to keep Eman there for one year, free of cost and make her walk for which I would really wish them luck. They are preparing from their end and the idea is that the hospital is closer home," said Dr Aparna Govil Bhasker, section chief of bariatric surgery, Saifee Hospital, DNA reported.

This internet sensation for the last couple of weeks is leaving the country for better treatment. She will be shifted to the UAE on a special Italian Bariatric stretcher.
"Eman is being fed through a tube and we told Shaimaa to follow instructions, but she tried to give her water through her mouth," said Dr Aparna Govil Bhasker.
Incapable of moving on her own due to a paralytic condition in her right leg and right arm, she was brought to India in an Egypt Air Cargo aircraft from her home in Alexandria, a crane was arranged by the officials to lift her along with her bed.
